Addressing FAQs

Can I use my mail services (postage) Internal Requisition and Inter-Account Bill (IRB) for direct marketing services?
No. You must create a separate IRB for Addressing Services. Mail service charges (postage) will be posted to your postage IRB.

I anticipate frequent mailing and direct marketing needs. Do I need to create an IRB for each mailing?
No. You should project your annual need for direct marketing services then create a standing IRB for the fiscal year.

What account code should I use when encumbering my IRB for direct mail services?
The account code for direct mail services is 721Y8

When are standing IRB’s due for mailing and addressing services?
